The Folkwitz brace themselves for what is sure to be their busiest weekend ever! 

Saturday 28th June will see us compete in the Leigh Folk Festival's Open Mic competition. A 10 minute slot to decide our fate for the following day. Will the Folkwitz win the competition and go on to perform on the main stage the next day?.....probably not, which is why we have booked in a slot at Horndon-on-the-Hill's 'Feast & Fayre' the following day (29th June). Thats right, we return a year later to this fantastic day in the village to entertain the locals with our folky reditions of songs they used to love.

​For the second year running The Folkwitz performed at The Harringay Arms (@harringayarms) as part of the Crouch End Festival (@crouchendfest). Back again with a new and improved set, we had a great evening! Thank you to all who stopped by, you were an amazing audience and we hope to see you all again soon! Another big thank you to Ben - Landlord of the Harringay Arms - for his hospitality!
